Boilers are an energy-efficient and highly reliable way to heat your home or business. They are quiet and do an excellent job of evenly heating a building. Also, because they are so reliable, you probably won’t need repairs very often. But, because these units often provide hot water as well as heat to businesses or residences, it is often all the more urgent to have them repaired when they malfunction. But you can count on Guardian Heating and Cooling to provide you with prompt service year-round. We will be on time every time.

Hiring Steve and Guardian Heating and Cooling was like a dream come true! I honestly don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t found Steve and Adam! Them and their crew helped me out so significantly, they not only installed a furnace for me, but then gave me an offer that I couldn’t refuse to replace my home’s air conditioner too! (Which was very old and not in very good condition.) Thank you so much Steve and Adam!! You and your team are A+++, I wouldn’t recommend anyone except you guys to all my family and friends! 🙂
Boiler Service & Maintenance
At Guardian Heating and Cooling, we provide a variety of heating and cooling services, including boiler service and repair. Regular service is an essential part of safely and efficiently running a boiler. In fact, for safety reasons, you should have your boiler inspected at least once a year. Here are some other advantages to getting your boiler serviced.
- By having your boiler serviced regularly, you can extend your boiler’s lifespan and have any issues fixed before they become serious problems.
- Proper maintenance will also decrease the chances of your boiler breaking down and possibly requiring emergency service, which can be very costly.
- Regular service will also help your boiler to run more efficiently, thus helping you to save money.
We Service Boilers!
If you have your boiler serviced, here are some of the checks we generally perform.
Conduct a Brief Visual Inspection
- A technician looks over the boiler for any visible signs of leaks, damage, or corrosion. The technician will also check the flame and see if the boiler meets current standards.
Remove the Boiler Casing
- Once the boiler casing is removed, the technician will check its components to ensure they are working correctly and clean the boiler’s interior as well. The spark probe, main injector, heat exchanger, and any other important components will be checked.
Flue Check
- The technician will also check the flue terminal to ensure it fits well and is not obstructed.
Fire Up the Boiler
- The technician will also light the boiler to see if the gas rates and the boiler pressure are correct.
Write a Report
- When the technician finishes, they will write a report stating what they found in the inspection, including any problems with the boiler.
